Smart City and Eco-cultural Tourism Design Innovation Lab，TASA

Introduction

The Smart City and Eco-Cultural Tourism Design Innovation Laboratory of Tsinghua (Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research was formally established by Tsinghua (Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research and Qingyu Weishi Technology Co., Ltd. in September 2021. Relying on the comprehensive disciplines and regional advantages of the Academy and the industrial base of Qingyu Weishi Technology Co., Ltd., the Laboratory will engage in project planning, evaluation on project initiation, design implementation and project operation related to smart city and eco-cultural tourism by school-government-enterprise cooperation approaches including art and science integrative innovation, achievement transformation, entrepreneurial services, art and cultural exchange and communication.

"The Laboratory promotes the protection, inheritance and exchange of special local culture, helps the construction of smart cities and rural revitalization, and builds cultural confidence to enhance the cultural discourse power of the state."

Work

The main business areas of the Laboratory include:

1.The exploration, protection and inheritance of special local culture, as well as the construction, transformation and promotion of the living environment in smart cities;

2. Brand strategic planning and overall design related to cultural tourism services;

3. Establishing a corresponding talent training system based on the needs in local comprehensive quality education, labor education, vocational education, higher education and other fields;

4. Helping local governments to apply for special bonds or special funds from relevant national ministries and commissions based on in-depth planning and prior evaluation of local eco-cultural tourism projects.

In the future, on the basis of integrating the development of the above four fields, the Laboratory will strive to achieve and promote more achievements in the top-level design service, construction, implementation and operation of eco-cultural tourism projects, so as to promote the protection and inheritance of special local culture as well as cultural communication; facilitate the construction of smart cities and rural revitalization; make contributions to building cultural confidence, building a cultural power and enhancing the cultural discourse power of the state.
